‘Encountering
Our Communities - Being Missional Church in a Changing Scotland’

Bringing
together believers across Scotland with a vision to build
church and transform community, Network Churches Scotland
is a valuable resource of relationships which connect us to
similarly envisioned community churches groups in the nation.
On Saturday
December 2 Community Church Edinburgh is privileged to be
hosting the Network Conference, with the theme 'Encountering
Our Communities - Being Missional Church in a Changing Scotland'.
During
the day, as well as hearing about the background to what God
is doing in Scotland, we will also hear stories of the Positive
Parenting initiative of Gateway Community Church Perth, and
the drug-proofing kids outreach in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow.
Then we will be taking the opportunity to hear something of
one another's stories of encountering communities from our
church situations, in afternoon story workshops.
The day
is designed for all engaged in leadership of any kind, and
for those with a vision and desire to see missional church
touching the nation around us.
Registration
at the door is £5; please bring a packed lunch, or enjoy
the services of the Heavenly Cake Cafe if you prefer.
