Phase
1 Building Work - Progress
Following
the great offering in May toward the building project we
are progressing with Phase 1 of the building project over
the summer. There has been a slight hitch in needing to
get "Listed Building Consent" for the roof light
in the top room, which we didn't think would be required.
This might take up to 10 weeks to come through, but we are
being told is a formality. It would be great if you could
pray for all to proceed smoothly and quickly.
At present
we are planning doing most of the building work in August,
and now delaying the fitting of the roof light until the
consent has come through in mid September. We are hoping
the rooms will be fully functional by the beginning of October.

aren't aware of the plans for phase 1, you can see the plans
for the top room here,
which is being turned into a "Meeting Place" with
4 small rooms for meetings of 2 - 6 people, and a larger
"reception space" which will also be used by the
children on Sundays. In the lower room, there will be a
multipurpose equipped space for informal gatherings of 20
- 40 people, more formal training or teaching events, or
for children's meetings.
